2 oz Rhum Agricole
1 oz homemade Watermelon Syrup*
3/4 oz fresh lime juice
4-6 mint leaves
Extra mint, for garnish
In the bottom of a shaker, gently muddle 4-6 mint leaves with the watermelon syrup. Add the Rhum and lime juice, shake with ice until chilled and fine strain into your favorite cocktail glass! Garnish with extra mint.
PRO TIP: Slap the mint between your hands before placing it in the drink for a little aromatic boost!
*Watermelon Syrup: Combine 1 cup watermelon chunks with 1 cup sugar. Stir to combine and refrigerate 2-4 hours or until sugar has dissolved. Strain out the solids and then fine strain into a bottle. Refrigerate up to a week.
